nice card

so today jess and i recieved a birthday card from our "health care provider". at first i didn't know what it was, figured it was a bill like always, right? but when i opened it i was greeted with a "happy birthday" from all of us. my first thought, really? but then i realized it was just a nice good deed. most of my life i have tried to be a good deed person. hold doors, sneeze into the crotch of my arm, pick up someones dropped item(s), and carrying things whether heavy or light for someone. i have began to realize that this short time i have here on earth shouldn't be wrapped up in fussy arguments and petty indifferences. i need to be, help, and love even though i may not want to some days. we don't know the reason for that person being in a bad mood and yes sometimes it makes you want to smack them or run them off the road with your car. sometimes life sucks for us but the more joy you spread the more joy can come back to you.
